About the role
We are seeking a gymnastics coach to positively impact the community through our YMCA programs.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe and supportive environment for learning and growth.
- Assist in teaching and developing gymnastics programs according to YMCA standards.
- Evaluate program skills and communicate progress to parents.
- Supervise participants and enforce positive support techniques.
- Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.
Requirements
- Ages 21 and older.
- 3-5 years of experience in gymnastics coaching.
- Some college education or equivalent experience.
- USAG Safety Certification for Competitions preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with children and parents.
Qualifications
- Experience with gymnastics competitions at the national, state, and/or national levels.
- Desire to work with children and maintain positive relationships with their families.
