Key Responsibilities
- Instruction & Program Delivery
- Develop and implement structured lesson plans appropriate for age and skill level
- Provide safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate gymnastics instruction
- Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to each class to prepare the lesson area
- Set up and break down equipment before and after each session
- Supervise students at all times during instructional periods
- Maintain minimal use of instructional videos
- Administrative & Reporting
- Maintain accurate attendance records
- Maintain performance and skill development records for each student
- Provide monthly attendance reports to the Program Coordinator
- Submit monthly invoices with required contract references
- Communication & Coordination
- Clock in at least 15 minutes prior to each class to prepare the lesson area
- Coordinate scheduling and performance requirements with the Program Coordinator
- Provide advance notice (minimum 7 days) for non-emergency absences
- Notify the POC immediately in case of emergency cancellations
- Maintain confidentiality of all student and family information
Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of experience teaching gymnastics at an established facility
- Demonstrated experience working with young children
- Ability to develop structured lesson plans
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
