About the role

Introduce kids to the serious fun of education and play, all within The Little Gym's unique learning environment. You’ll get your steps in and close your activity rings while you work because you’ll be moving all day. We take our fun pretty seriously but also take the role we play in our community and with each child we meet seriously. The relationships you’ll build here will last a lifetime.

Responsibilities

• Teach amazing classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (training provided).
• Provide outstanding customer service and membership experience—we treat our members like family.
• Create a warm, fun, and educational environment for the children in each class.
• Treat each class and each child as if it’s their first day—every week!
• Engage in imaginative play, such as acting like a dinosaur, while fostering confidence and skills.

Requirements

• You love having fun, like giving high fives, and can play like a child! (A background in child development, physical education, and/or gymnastics is helpful but not required.)
• You live to serve—making others feel good makes you feel good.
• Kids really like you, and their parents really like you too.
• You were voted most likely to be in a good mood by your high school classmates.
• You love to have fun but know when to buckle down and do work.

Pay

$21.57 - $23.50 per hour

The Little Gym is the world’s premier enrichment and physical development center for children ages 4 months through 12 years. Programs offer children a Springboard to Life’s Adventures by using movement-based learning and imaginative play to help build the confidence and skills needed at each stage of childhood. For over 40 years, our trained instructors have nurtured happy, confident kids through parent/child classes, gymnastics, dance, sports prep, camps, Parents’ Survival Nights, and Awesome Birthday Bash parties.

Somersault Operating currently has 30 The Little Gym locations spread across 8 states (SC, NC, VA, TN, PA, NJ, WA, CA), with multiple new locations scheduled to open in the coming years. All associated locations are independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchise, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of that franchise.
