Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform all duties associated with running the gym, including opening/closing procedures, POS interactions and basic instruction.
- Hire, train, and maintain a team of supervisors and floor staff with a focus on continuous growth and learning.
- Manage a team that strives to meet and exceed local sales goals by matching guests with the products we offer that best meet their needs.
- Use various reports to analyze individual and team performance with an eye to consistent improvement.
- Schedule inspections, cleaning and maintenance tasks using organizational tools.
- Create weekly staff schedules, oversee accounts receivable, maintain register drawers, and prepare weekly deposits using multiple administrative tools.
Qualifications and Skills
- A skilled manager with a commitment to the long term growth of their team members and their local community.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Previous management experience with employees.
- Experience with employee scheduling.
- Ability to supervise.
- Ability to work nights/weekends.
- Ability to enforce rules and regulations.
- Ability to handle money.
- Ability to communicate effectively with corporate management team.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Customer service experience.
- Basic computer skills.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs.
