Gym Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform all duties associated with running the gym, including opening/closing procedures, POS interactions and basic instruction.
• Hire, train, and maintain a team of supervisors and floor staff with a focus on continuous growth and learning.
• Manage a team that strives to meet and exceed local sales goals by matching guests with the products we offer that best meet their needs.
• Use various reports to analyze individual and team performance with an eye to consistent improvement.
• Schedule inspections, cleaning and maintenance tasks using organizational tools.
• Create weekly staff schedules, oversee accounts receivable, maintain register drawers, and prepare weekly deposits using multiple administrative tools.

• A skilled manager with a commitment to the long term growth of their team members and their local community.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Previous management experience with employees.
• Experience with employee scheduling.
• Ability to supervise.
• Ability to work nights/weekends.
• Ability to enforce rules and regulations.
• Ability to handle money.
• Ability to communicate effectively with corporate management team.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs.
