What You'll Do
- Drives bus over an assigned route.
- Checks bus operating systems to ensure operating safety and for maintaining a good rapport with the passengers served.
- Examines bus to insure its proper mechanical operation, including review of all safety features.
- Reports any dangerous conditions that could jeopardize the safety of the passenger or other members of the public.
- Collections bus fares and answers passengers' questions in a professional and congenial manner.
- Maintains contact with the Operations Manager and reports current position and conditions affecting the operation of the route as required.

What We Need
- Must be age 21 or older with a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Must submit to and pass a DOT physical at employer’s expense.
- Position is subject to FTA pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
- Physical demands: The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
