Gummies Utility Operator (DAYS)

Responsibilities
- Load, stack, and transport finished gummy products from the debuck area to the WIP area, properly labeling the dollies, and recording the information within the Master Batch Record.
- Load starch bags or drums into the mogul starch reservoir.
- Organize and stage products together in the WIP area.
- Load, operate, and unload both starch and WIP trays through the tray washer equipment.
- Operate and oversee the Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) robots from the product tunnels.
- Select and load tunnel drying recipes and properly record them within the Master Batch Record.
- Assists in disassembling equipment and cleaning it in accordance with specific job instruction procedures.
- Washes and dries utensils, pans, tanks, and other containers. Uses a variety of cloths, brushes, brooms, and cleaning agents to clean rooms where products are prepared and stored, ensuring they meet sanitary GMP requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 1–2 years of work experience required at this level.
- Physical Requirements: Stand or walk for the full work shift, perform repetitive job duties for extended periods, pull, push, and lift boxes, drums, and similar loads up to 50 pounds more than 50% of the time, push or pull containers weighing up to 160 pounds using a pallet jack in congested areas, lift and load 50-pound bags of starch to stomach level repeatedly.
- Physical Environment: Constant exposure to noise levels requiring employees to wear hearing protection, warm temperature levels, fumes, vibration, and dust that may cause minor discomfort, Cleaning chemicals present in the area requiring personal protective equipment.
- Safety: Must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices (GMP) without endangering the health or safety of themselves or others.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $37,000.00 - $60,000.00. Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications, and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.

Pharmavite provides compensation for all overtime hours worked by non-exempt (hourly) employees in accordance with state and federal law.
The need to work overtime hours will be determined by management, based on customer and business necessity to meet the needs of our business.
