About the role

Gumby's Pizza is seeking a BOH personality to join their team. The ideal candidate will have the capability to sanitize dishes in a timely manner, operate and unload commercial dishwashers, and assist with closing duties including sanitizing cooking and food preparation stations.

Responsibilities

• Load, operate, and unload commercial dishwashers, and hand wash larger items.
• Answer the BOH phone and take call in customer orders.
• Adhere to proper sanitation, cleaning, and health and safety procedures.
• Assist with closing duties, which may include sanitizing cooking and food preparation stations.
• Maintain dish areas with high quality and efficiency.
• Monitor dishwashing machines and report any issues.
• Sweep and power wash kitchen floors; clean walls and work surfaces.
• Communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and dining room personnel.
• Work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
• Be available for late night shifts.

Requirements

• Customer Service Skills and ability to work well with others.
• Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with Point of Sale systems.
• Ability to maintain professionalism at all times.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to communicate and understand English.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and dining room personnel.
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
• Late night availability is required.
