About the role

Responsibilities
- Teach music lessons to students using the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum
- Work to increase student count and ensure each student continues to grow and enjoy playing music
- Nurture our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect
- Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs
- Communicate with students and/or parents on progress of each student and share their goals and progress
- Build and maintain long-term student relationships through frequent communication and trust-building
- Provide excellent customer service as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field
- Ability to teach the instrument you are proficient in (Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.)
- Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching
