Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.
• Work to increase student count, ensuring each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music.
• Nurture a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.
• Partner with the store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
• Assist with customer service as needed to build and maintain long‑term student relationships.
• Partner with students and families through frequent communication, building trusting relationships.
• Communicate student progress and share goals with students and/or parents.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument in which you are proficient (e.g., Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.).
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the teaching area.
