Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum
• Work to increase student count, ensuring each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music
• Nurture a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect
• Partner with the store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs
• Assist with customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long‑term student relationships
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Partner with students and families through frequent communication, building trusting relationships
• Embrace the knowledge parents have as their child's music teacher
• Communicate student progress to students and/or parents
• Share student and/or parent goals and progress frequently

Requirements

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field
• Ability to teach the instrument you are prof
