About the role

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons using the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum
• Work to increase student count and ensure each student grows and enjoys playing music
• Nurture our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect
• Partner with store Lessons Leads to schedule and retain student headcount
• Communicate with students and/or parents about progress and goals
• Build and maintain long-term student relationships through frequent communication and trust-building
• Provide excellent customer service as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field
• Ability to teach the instrument you are proficient in, such as drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching
