Guitar Teacher
About the Role
We are looking for a part-time guitar teacher to join our supportive studio, working with students ages 6 and up. At Piano Central Studios (PCS), we value both musical instruction and the relationships built with students and families. You’ll teach private lessons to beginners through advanced students while fostering a positive, motivating experience in a warm, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach private guitar lessons to students ages 6 and up, from beginners to advanced levels
- Connect with students and communicate effectively with parents to support their musical growth
- Maintain organization, dependability, and strong follow-through in lesson planning and scheduling
- Contribute to a thriving, collaborative program with a commitment of 2–3 years
Requirements
- A degree in music
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for teaching
- Ability to build rapport with students and parents
- Reliability, initiative, and a willingness to grow with our program
Schedule
This is a year-round position with most teaching hours occurring Monday through Friday in the early afternoons and evenings. Saturday teaching is optional.
