Guitar instructor needed in Raleigh, NC

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is seeking private music instructors, particularly for guitar, to teach students in the Raleigh, NC area. Lessons can occur in the students' homes, the instructor's home, or via webcam.

Responsibilities

• Teach guitar lessons to students in the Raleigh, NC area
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans
• Communicate regularly with the office
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons

Requirements

• Great with kids
• Loves teaching
• Previous teaching experience OR formal music training (degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience)

Qualifications

• Must be able to wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing when applicable

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to organize and manage lesson schedules

Benefits

• Independent contractor status with pay ranging from $20-$30 per hour based on travel time, experience, and student retention rate
