Guitar instructor needed in Mico, TX

About the role

Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors for guitar lessons in the Mico, TX area. Lessons can occur in the students' homes, the instructor's home or studio, or via webcam. The position is independent contractor-based, with pay ranging from $20-$30 per hour depending on travel time, experience, and student retention.

Responsibilities

• Teach guitar lessons to students in the Mico, TX area
• Set your own schedule and lesson plans
• Communicate regularly with the office
• Be organized and punctual for all lessons

Requirements

• Great with kids
• Loves teaching
• Previous teaching experience OR formal music training (degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience)

Qualifications

• Must be able to teach in person or via webcam
• Wear a mask, sanitize hands, and practice social distancing when applicable due to COVID-19

Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents
• Strong organizational and punctuality skills
