Guidewire Tester

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Guidewire Tester with 9–11 years of experience to lead QA testing for Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations, upgrades, and integrations in a remote capacity based in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, identify issues, and troubleshoot defects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Lead QA testing efforts for Guidewire PolicyCenter, including functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Create comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Validate batch processes, billing rules, and system integrations within the Guidewire ecosystem.
• Track and manage defects, coordinating with development teams for timely resolution.
• Mentor junior testers and coordinate testing activities across distributed teams.

Requirements

• 13+ years of hands-on experience in QA and testing.
• Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and its modules.
• Deep understanding of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
• Experience with JIRA, ALM, automation frameworks, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git.
• Knowledge of Guidewire Digital applications or Dev Connect.
• Active Guidewire Analyst Certification.
