Guidewire Tester

About the Role

Client is seeking a dedicated Guidewire Tester to support its ongoing P&C Policy Modernization journey. The role involves validating and ensuring the quality of solutions built on the Guidewire Insurance Suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter), integrated with AWS cloud services and other enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and cases for Guidewire applications.
• Validate new features, configurations, and integrations across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter through functional and regression testing.
• Implement and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, TestNG, or similar tools.
• Ensure seamless integration with internal and external systems (e.g., AWS services, third-party APIs).
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar tools, collaborating with developers for resolution.
• Ensure all testing activities comply with regulatory and risk standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Guidewire Insurance Suite testing (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes, with hands-on experience in Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in automation tools (Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud environments and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of software testing experience, with at least 2 years focused on Guidewire applications.
• ACE certifications / Associate Certification (Mandatory).
• Certifications such as ISTQB or Guidewire Testing Specialist are a plus.
