Guidewire Technical Lead Policy Center developer
Job Description
Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter integrations with external systems including rating engines, payment gateways, document services, and core platforms.
Implement and configure SOAP/REST APIs, Messaging infrastructure (Kafka, JMS), and integration plugins.
Lead the architecture and design of new integration flows, including data mapping and error handling strategies.
Develop custom plugins for pre/post submission logic, policy lifecycle events, and claim/policy sync.
Guide and mentor development teams on integration best practices and performance tuning.
Support end-to-end testing, debugging, and issue resolution across environments.
Collaborate with Business Analysts (BAs), Quality Assurance (QA), Cloud Operations (CloudOps), and Development Operations (DevOps) teams to ensure successful deployments and monitoring.
Must Have Skills
- Proficiency in GOSU, Java, JavaScript, and SQL
- A deep understanding of Guidewire's architecture, components, and APIs
- Familiarity with insurance concepts, processes, and regulations
- The ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
