Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer

What You’ll Do

• Work on sprint stories using an Agile framework.
• Develop in Gosu using Studio, a customized version of IntelliJ for Guidewire development.
• Implement batches, UI changes, message queue integrations, web service integrations, and configure page settings.
• Write unit tests using Guidewire’s testing framework.
• Support testing by designing or executing testing plans.
• Present development stories to code review sessions.
• Present completed stories during sprint reviews.
• Present stories to larger groups during sprint reviews.

What You’ll Need

• Experience in a production environment.
• Previous experience with an Agile team or understanding Agile concepts.
• Participation in daily standup meetings and completion of projects during sprints.
• Frequent deployment deadlines.
• Experience with Guidewire, especially PolicyCenter for integration and configurations.
• Extensive experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, Gosu, IntelliJ, and Studio.
• Experience with Mulesoft for API building and React/Node.js for digital app development.
• Understanding of Postman, SOAP, REST, and integration with different web services.
• Comfortable speaking and presenting to groups of 20 or more people.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
