Guidewire ClaimCenter Quality Analyst

Responsibilities

• End-to-end testing for Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration and integration story cards
• Understand product application features requirements and define Test Plan and business scenarios
• Develop ClaimCenter configuration Integration Test scenarios and test cases
• Identify test data needs and prepare test data for the required tests
• Create and run functional application regression, ad hoc, and integration tests including both positive and negative scenarios for ClaimCenter and related integration points
• Execute test cases and report results
• Log defects and track defects through closure
• Meet timelines on testing with quality
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in Quality Analysis
• 3 years of experience in testing for Guidewire ClaimCenter
• Sound knowledge of Test Plan and Test Execution
• Sound knowledge of PC Insurance domain and claims
• Understanding of full testing life cycle from requirement gathering to delivery
• Experience in Guidewire integration with upstream and downstream systems testing
• Knowledge of ClaimCenter data flow from upstream and downstream
• Excellent knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter interfaces and OOTB functionalities
• Knowledge of APIs, SOAP UI, and Postman testing
• Integration testing skills and validation of XML files
• Experience working in Agile methodology

Skills

• Proficient in Test Management Tools: JIRA, Rally, HPQC, VSTS, TFS
• Guidewire functional knowledge on ClaimCenter
• Knowledge of Selenium, QTP, Ranorex, or Excel Macro using VB Scripting
• Awareness of Test Automation and ability to spot points of value in process
• Knowledge of both Manual and Automation testing skills with hands-on experience
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
• Good planning and prioritization skills to deliver on complex tasks and projects with conflicting or overlapping timelines
• Sets expectations appropriately and meets deadlines consistently

Qualifications

• AINS 21/22/23/24 Certification (preferred)
• ISEB/ISTQB Software Testing qualifications (added advantage)
• Knowledge of SQL Database Testing
