Guidewire BillingCenter Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• 12+ years of experience in Guidewire Solution Architect, Technical Architect and BillingCenter Architect.
• Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter.
• Proficiency in P&C insurance business processes and billing lifecycle.
• Hands-on knowledge of Gosu, Guidewire Studio, Data Model, PCF, Business Rules, Typelists, Plugins, and Workflows.
• Strong understanding of Java, XML, JSON, SQL, APIs, middleware, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Lead end-to-end solution architecture and technical design for Guidewire BillingCenter implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and transformation programs.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to convert business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
• Design and oversee integrations between BillingCenter, PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, digital platforms, payment systems, financial applications, data platforms, and third-party applications.
• Establish development standards, reusable patterns, governance processes, and best practices across Guidewire teams.
• Lead Guidewire Cloud adoption, migration, modernization, and implementation initiatives where applicable.
• Review and approve technical designs, integration specifications, configuration approaches, and architecture decisions.
• Define scalable integration strategies using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, messaging, event-driven architecture, and Guidewire integration frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
