About the role

The Guest Services Specialist delivers world-class customer service and functions as the guests’ liaison to all services within the designated BayCare Health System’s hospital and the surrounding community. This role is hospitality-focused and critical to supporting a positive experience for each guest.

You will become proficient in the following areas as required: reception, registration and check-in, visitor management, waiting room management, document management, environment of care, and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class customer service
• Serve as the guests’ liaison to hospital and community services
• Perform reception, registration, and check-in duties
• Manage visitor and waiting room operations
• Handle document management tasks
• Maintain environment of care standards
• Respond to emergency situations as needed

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a related field
• 2 years of customer service experience
• Advanced computer skills
• Self-motivated team-player with demonstrable success in a high-stress, fast-paced work environment
• Must successfully complete OLC training modules as assigned within 12 months

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED required)
