Description
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience during each visit. However, some managers also oversee departments. The Guest Service Department Manager’s responsibilities include:
- Making sure the Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience.
- Ensuring sales promotions are executed well.
- Training all service staff in service procedures.
- Organizing the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor and provide adequate training to all employees.
- Provide an exceptional experience for all guests.
- Ensure crew enjoys working at McDonald's.
- Set a positive, professional tone for success.
- Makes sure the crew represents the brand proudly & consistently.
- Position crew members to deliver the best customer service.
- Maintain good communication between managers and crew.
- Follow targets and goals.
- Responsible for Marketing (POP/Special Events).
- Track Cash (Shortage, sales, DT Times).
Qualifications
- Previous managerial experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
- Positive team player with flexible schedules who likes to have fun.
- Passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald's environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our restaurants.
- Ability to read and write at a 9th grade level.
- Possess basic computer knowledge.
- Count money and accurately give change.
- Have a positive attitude.
- Work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage time effectively.
- Knowledge and training in hospitality.
- Leverage leadership skills.
Physical Requirements
- The position can be physically demanding.
- The employee may be required to stand for extended periods of time.
- Lift objects up to 20 lbs on a regular basis.
- Perform repetitive tasks with few breaks.
