The Witches of 7th Street (aka Hairetics Salon) are seeking a front desk familiar to support our magical endeavors. Ideal candidates are career-driven, social media-savvy, and uphold high standards of communication and customer service. This role offers the potential to evolve into a Salon Apprentice for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Guest service – serve as the first impression for guests entering or contacting the salon, ensuring all interactions are professional and magical.
• Sales – educate guests on available services and assist the team with retail sales.
• Handle all forms of communication: phone, email, online, and in-person interactions.
• Schedule appointments, answer phones and emails, greet and check clients in/out.
• Coordinate and contribute to Hairetics’ social media posts (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, newsletters, etc.).
• Maintain salon harmony and cleanliness, manage inventory, and occasionally assist fellow team members.
• Meet goal plans as outlined during training.

Requirements

• Customer service and sales experience preferred.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills.
• Experience with data entry and proficiency with Mac computers (Vagaro POS system a plus).
• Knowledge and experience with various social media platforms.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively, with or without supervision.
• Attentive to clients and coworkers, observant, and proactive in identifying tasks that need to be done.
• Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Pay

$15–18+/hr plus 10% retail commission.
