Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Prepare professional presentations for clients, including compiling and formatting furniture selections for review.
- Scale clients’ floor plans to 1/4-inch scale to support design appointments.
- Print, organize, and assemble materials for Design Consultants prior to client meetings.
- Correspond and work closely with Design Consultants to ensure they have everything needed for a successful client appointment.
Design Center & Gallery Maintenance
- Organize and maintain all Design Center materials, including fabrics, finishes, trims, samples, and reference tools.
- Maintain the appearance and organization of samples both in the Design Center and in the showroom galleries.
- Restock information desks and ensure all handouts and resources are available for Design Consultants.
Reception & Guest Experience
- Cover the reception desk during the Head Receptionist’s days off, breaks, or lunch periods.
- Manage the daily guest list and ensure a smooth, professional check-in process.
- Maintain a steady rotation of Design Consultants to meet with clients in a timely manner.
- Greet clients as the first point of contact, offering a warm and welcoming experience.
- Answer incoming phone calls and client questions with professionalism and accuracy.
- Aid with general showroom guest needs to ensure a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience.
