Guest Services Agent

About the role

We are an upscale, award-winning boutique hotel chain seeking a Guest Services Agent to join our dynamic team. This role involves greeting guests warmly, ensuring they have a pleasant stay, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Completing daily front desk duties including check-ins/outs, room scheduling, room moves, late checkouts, stay-overs, and rates and types of available rooms.
• Responding to other requests from guests and providing welcome beverage and barista services as needed.
• Aiding arriving and departing guests with their luggage to and from guest rooms.
• Acting as a point of reference for guests needing assistance or information, attending to their wishes and requirements.
• Acquiring and sharing knowledge of the hotel and surrounding areas, venues, and attractions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three to six months related experience preferred.
• Possess a valid food handlers card and alcohol service card (can acquire after hire).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Ability to effectively interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive manner.
• Ability to quickly assess situations and create effective resolutions to problems.
• Possess a passion to provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications
