About the role
US Concerts is seeking a Guest Services Member to interact with customers, provide information, handle inquiries, and resolve complaints to maintain customer loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary customer service to maintain customer loyalty.
- Answer inbound calls or in-person inquiries to resolve customer concerns through analysis and determine the most effective resolution.
- Adapt to customer needs, ensuring their expectations are understood and exceeded.
- Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
- Solicit sales of new or additional services or products.
- Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, cancel accounts, or obtain details of complaints.
- Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, including inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken.
- Participate in the venue’s sustainability program (e.g., sorting waste, collecting recycling, educating fans about conservation efforts).
- Partner with team members at the end of shows to close the venue, including collecting recyclables, picking up and storing event equipment (e.g., lawn chairs, barricade).
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Guest Services Manager.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in Customer Service and communications.
- Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to execute programs.
- Physical ability to constantly walk, climb stairs, lift and carry 50+ lbs, and occasionally sit.
