Guest Service Specialist

About the Role

The Guest Service Specialist serves as the store’s front-end point person for hospitality, guest flow, and cash operations. You will lead by example, maintaining efficiency, merchandising front-end displays, and ensuring consistent execution of cash office controls and audits to create an exceptional last impression for every guest. This role embodies passion, excellence, hospitality, and teamwork while upholding operational standards.

Pay

$17.33 - $18.48 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Be a visible example of hospitality, educating guests and team members on products, services, and complete meal solutions.
• Manage front-end guest flow and efficiency by directing and supporting cashiers while minimizing backups to deliver frictionless checkout experiences.
• Execute and uphold cash office procedures and controls, including management of cash, keys, and the safe.
• Direct the guest service team to maintain sanitation and cleanliness at the front end and guest restrooms.
• Support execution of digital fulfillment orders, ensuring speed, accuracy, and adherence to brand standards.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach at the front-end and throughout the store.
• Assist in managing the department, inventories, and team to minimize product loss.

Schedule

This position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail, culinary, and/or grocery experience.
• Experience with electronic shelf label systems, inventory management technology, or AI-enabled retail tools.

Physical and Work Conditions

• Repetitive hand/arm movements, grasping, bending, reaching.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds by oneself.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Ability to use tools and equipment: knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Required to spend long periods on your feet and stand or walk without a break (for up to 4 hours or as required by law).
• Required to wear an approved hat, hair net, and/or beard guard, and personal protective equipment.
