Guest Service Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as the store’s front-end point person for hospitality, guest flow, and cash operations.
• Lead by example to maintain efficiency, merchandising front-end displays, and ensuring consistent execution of cash office controls and audits.
• Educate guests and team members on products, services, and complete meal solutions.
• Manage front-end guest flow and efficiency by directing and supporting cashiers while minimizing backups to deliver frictionless checkout experiences.
• Execute and uphold cash office procedures and controls, including management of cash, keys, and the safe.
• Direct the guest service team to maintain sanitation and cleanliness at the front end and guest restrooms.
• Support execution of digital fulfillment orders with speed, accuracy, and adherence to brand standards.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach at the front-end and throughout the store.
• Assist in managing the department, inventories, and team to minimize product loss.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail, culinary, and/or grocery experience.
• Experience with electronic shelf label systems, inventory management technology, or AI-enabled retail tools.

Physical and work conditions

• Repetitive hand/arm movements, grasping, bending, reaching.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds by oneself and exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Ability to use tools and equipment: knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Required to spend long periods on your feet, standing or walking without a break (up to 4 hours or as required by law).
• Required to wear an approved hat, hair net, and/or beard guard, and personal protective equipment.
