About the role
Join Graduate by Hilton State College as a Guest Service Representative and be part of a brilliant team of hospitality enthusiasts.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with personal recognition in a warm and authentic manner.
- Review the arrival list daily and assist in preparing, assembling, and delivering welcome amenities.
- Escort VIPs to their room and check them in prior to arrival.
- Answer the telephone within three rings with a smile, addressing questions or transferring calls as needed.
- Manage the issued bank: count at the beginning and end of shift, ensure proper cash handling procedures, and report any cash over/shorts to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Assist with lobby activation as needed.
- Follow proper procedures when handling guest personally identifiable information (PPI) data.
- Communicate key points for a Graduate Arrival experience.
- Take ownership of guest requests and follow through to resolution.
- Resolve guest complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
- Actively participate in the Front Desk upsell program.
- Retrieve necessary identification documents and form of payment upon guest arrival.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Prior customer service experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Skills
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members.
- Excellent time management skills.

Pay
Compensation range: $16–$18 per hour.
