Guest Room Attendant | State College Townplace Suites

About the Role

Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. This position involves maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness, observing all house and safety rules, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.
• Handle guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
• Report any maintenance deficiencies and handle guest requests or complaints.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
• Return and restock cart at the end of shift.
• Complete additional deep cleaning or seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
• Observe all housekeeping room procedures and security procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
