GUEST ROOM ATTENDANT - Full Time / Part Time

Major Job Duties

• Clean hotel guest rooms on a rotation schedule, including making of beds, dusting furniture, restocking items, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming rooms, and dusting windows.
• Dust walls, clean mirrors, and vacuum floors.
• Release rooms when guests are ready.
• Push, pull, and lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
• Bend and stretch for 95% of the working day.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Read Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Chemical Hazards Communication Program (CHIP) labels.
• Use proper personal protective equipment when necessary.
• Communicate with hotel guests and team members verbally and in writing.
• Able to understand and follow management directions.

Experience

• 6 months room attendant experience preferred.

Educational Requirements

No formal education required.

Skills

• Good communication skills.
• Able to follow directions.
• Able to work independently.
• Full knowledge of company and department regulations.
• Knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
• Ability to use a phone.
