About the role

Guest Relations staff are responsible for welcoming, greeting and/or providing stadium-related information and assistance while offering the finest customer service to American Family Field guests. Positions may include Outside Greeter, Escalator Attendants, Wheelchair Attendants, and Designated Driver Booth. This role involves significant walking, climbing stairs, and standing on concrete surfaces in both cold and hot weather.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and positively engage with all guests upon arrival and throughout their visit to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  • Treat guests with courtesy and respect, assisting them to ensure their visit is safe, clean, fun, and family-friendly.
  • Provide event information, general ballpark directions, instructions, and guidance while ensuring fan compliance with American Family Field and MLB policies (e.g., screening procedures, prohibited items, special assistance options).
  • Operate a voice amplifier to deliver clear instructions and guidance to guests outside of gates.
  • Monitor and cover escalators to ensure guest safety during use.
  • Operate Wheelchair Services and assist with coordination of Shuttle Services.
  • Direct and maintain control over queue formations at gate entrances and escalators.
  • Communicate with appropriate staff to coordinate optimal entrance into the ballpark for fans and guests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); six to twelve months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication skills; must be friendly, knowledgeable, well-groomed, assertive, and able to intervene in conflict situations.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service in a professional, respectful, and friendly manner.
  • Availability to attend training sessions, stadium tours, and other events prior to the start of the baseball season.
  • Willingness to learn and use programs on a computer and/or mobile phone to submit availability and complete necessary employment training.
  • Must be available to work weekdays, weeknights, and weekends during the baseball season.
  • Must be available to arrive up to three (3) hours prior to game time.
  • Must be able to stand for up to five (5) hours at a time.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Schedule

Hours vary according to the game and event schedule. Must be available to arrive up to three (3) hours prior to game time.
