About the role

The Guest Experience Specialist at Courtyard by Marriott is responsible for delivering a memorable and unique stay for guests. This role goes beyond traditional front‑desk duties, taking ownership of the guest experience throughout the hotel with a “guest first” mindset. Specialists are empowered to move throughout the property, handling operational needs, guest requests, reporting, meal service, and sharing local highlights while maintaining safety, professionalism, and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of services that guide guests through their entire stay.
• Process operational needs and complete required reports.
• Address guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Deliver quality meals and share highlights of the local area.
• Maintain a safe workplace and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Protect company assets, uphold quality standards, and maintain confidentiality.
• Ensure professional uniform, personal appearance, and communications.
• Perform physical tasks: stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects ≤ 25 lb without assistance; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
