Guest Experience Associate
About the role
We are seeking passionate individuals to join the Oklahoma City Thunder's Guest Experience Team. Our mission is to be the most Fan-centric organization in professional sports. You will serve as a game night ambassador, working at our Fan Information Booths and supporting the Guest Experience team with various responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Team Captain for one of our three Fan Information Booth locations, providing leadership and support to our Guest Experience Representatives.
- Work as a front-line representative at our Fan Information Booths, addressing fan needs and concerns, responding to fan inquiries, and providing solutions for fan issues.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the Paycom Center, including wayfinding, arena policies and procedures, and premium space operations.
- Work closely with Paycom Center, Thunder, and third-party vendor staff to assist guests.
- Help with the setup, organization of promotional materials and resolution items, and breakdown of the Fan Information Booth.
- Prepare and submit nightly reports to the Guest Experience Lead, detailing relevant information from the shift, including feedback from guests and teammates.
- Organize and maintain inventory of game night collateral, fan giveaways, and resolution items at assigned Fan Information Booths, as well as the Guest Experience closet.
- Offer administrative and logistical support to the department as required in the office.
- Assist with research projects and events for department initiatives.
- Support the “CLICK! With Your Guests” certification events as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to work 95% of all scheduled Thunder game nights and, on occasion, accept shifts with up to 48 hours' notice.
- Communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds in public-facing settings.
- Demonstrate outstanding hospitality through professional and courteous interactions.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Benefits
- Seasonal part-time, hourly position.
- Office hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, in alignment with the home game schedule.
- Physical responsibilities may include shifts up to nine hours long, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and working in the presence of loud in-arena noise and flashing lights.
