You'll be owning full-cycle talent acquisition across Go-to-Market, and Operations teams. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role — you'll work directly with founders and hiring managers to build a bar-raising hiring process and bring exceptional people into the team.WHAT YOU'LL DOOwn full-cycle recruiting for roles across GTM and Operations — from sourcing through offer closePartner closely with founders and hiring managers to define role requirements, build scorecards, and maintain a high hiring barBuild and manage sourcing strategies to proactively identify top talent through LinkedIn, referrals, events, and creative outreachManage candidate experience end-to-end, ensuring every candidate has a respectful, clear, and timely processMaintain and improve our ATS, keeping pipelines clean and data accurateDevelop and iterate on interview processes that are structured, fair, and predictive of on-the-job successContribute to employer brand efforts — help tell the Baselayer story to attract candidates who are excited about our missionTrack recruiting metrics and report on pipeline health, time-to-fill, and quality of hireMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally at a high-growth startup or in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated success hiring across GTM and/or Operations rolesStrong sourcing skills — you know how to find and engage passive candidates, not just manage inboundExcellent communication and organizational skills; you run a tight, candidate-friendly processExperience with an ATS (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, or similar)Experience with LinkedIn RecruiterWORK LOCATIONBased in New York City; Full-time in officeCOMPENSATIONSalary Range: $90,000 – $150,000 + EquityVariable Compensation: Annual BonusBENEFITSTime off when you need it: Flexible PTO so you can recharge without red tapeIn-person energy: We're based in NYC and meet in the office full-timeCompetitive compensation: We pay well and back it with equity.
