About the role
Join With Coverage as our GTM Lead for Private Equity. You will own and scale one of our fastest-growing verticals end to end. This is a leadership role focused on driving top-of-funnel growth for our Private Equity vertical, building deep relationships across PE firms, and owning pipeline generation from first touch through qualified handoff.
Responsibilities
- Own the Private Equity vertical. Be the true owner of one of our most strategic business lines, accountable for pipeline, relationships, and revenue.
- Develop industry relationships. Develop deep relationships with managing partners, general counsel, CFOs, and heads of operations at PE firms plus the broader ecosystem.
- Drive execution. Generate demand through targeted outreach, manage the pipeline, and guide prospects through the full conversion cycle with clear communication and follow-through.
- Shape the GTM playbook. Partner with the Private Equity Risk Lead to refine messaging, packaging, and ICP definition; bring structured product and underwriting feedback that reflects how sponsors actually buy and what they need across the fund lifecycle and portfolio company operations.
- Build pipeline. Expand referral networks and identify new go-to-market opportunities to consistently grow qualified opportunities.
Requirements
- 4+ years in private equity or PE-adjacent roles: deal teams, operations, or IR at a PE firm; PE coverage at an investment bank or capital markets desk; fund administration or fund formation; sponsor-focused management consulting; or transaction liability/M&A insurance.
- Skilled relationship builder and networker, with a track record (or clear potential) closing 6-7 figure B2B deals.
- Strong communicator with executive presence – you'll represent the brand externally.
- High-ownership operator who's comfortable with ambiguity and moves fast to build a vertical from the ground up.
- Fast learner, ready to get up to speed on insurance products quickly (we'll teach you).

Pay
The expected OTE pay range for this position at the start of employment is $200,000 – $250,000/year. Actual compensation will vary based on individual factors, including market location, relevant experience, and role scope. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for variable compensation tied to performance or quota attainment, where applicable.
