About the role
The FP&A team is responsible for company-wide management reporting, and partnering with the business to bring visibility, insights, and perspective to drive the company forward. The GTM FP&A Manager, reporting to the VP of FP&A, is responsible for corporate-wide support of our Sales and Marketing Go To Market (GTM) teams. This role will be the primary Finance support for those functions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key financial business partner to GTM leaders, providing data driven insights, clear perspective, and recommendations to help drive strategic business decisions
- Drive outcomes and process improvements by partnering with teams in Sales, SalesOps, Demand Gen, Marketing, Accounting, Legal, and others
- Design, implement, and deliver monthly reporting and presentation of ARR and Revenue, functional costs, and other critical Software and GTM metrics and KPIs (e.g. GRR, NRR, Pricing, etc.)
- Own models & generate financials for the long-range plan, budget, and forecasts
- Collaborate and support the FP&A team on internal processes and ad-hoc projects
- Run the commission process and support design of commission plans
- Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis for potential acquisitions and internal investment proposals
Requirements
- A builder’s mentality with proven experience delivering business outcomes and improving processes, especially by influencing without authority
- Desire to make an impact, learn and get better everyday, and bring a mindset that helps our team win together
- Intellectual curiosity (ask why before asking what or dig in) and comfort with ambiguity
- Strong communication skills with ability to work effectively across the organization; from senior executives to sales reps
- Working knowledge of Accounting principles, general ledger and ERP dynamics, and Corp FP&A expectations
- Prefere Advanced technical skills in Excel including experience creating complex driver-based financial models
- Prefers experience with Adaptive Planning and NetSuite, but more importantly the ability to learn new systems
- Prefers Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
Qualifications
- 4 years of FP&A experience in a fast-paced or PE backed environment
- Experience in SaaS and with GTM teams and metrics: GRR, CAC, Discounts, ROI of new investments
Skills
- Prefer experience with Adaptive Planning and NetSuite, but more importantly the ability to learn new systems
