GTM Engineer Intern

Clientell AI is a San Francisco-based company helping enterprises run Salesforce and revenue operations better. We work hands-on inside our clients' systems, fixing complex operational problems and building custom AI agents that can actually execute work across Salesforce and the broader revenue stack. Our Bangalore team in HSR Layout is the pod that designs, ships, and stands this work for some of our largest accounts. This role sits outside our Services delivery team. It is a dedicated seat on the growth side of Clientell, working directly with the founding team.

About the Role

Growth at Clientell isn't a department with a roadmap someone hands you. It's whatever is currently stopping more people from discovering Clientell, trying it, getting value from it, and sticking around. That's what you'll work on.

We're looking for a Growth Intern who is part strategist, part operator, part analyst, and part builder. You'll work across acquisition, activation, retention, monetization, and referral, figuring out which lever matters most, designing experiments around it, and measuring whether anything actually changed. This is not an internship where you spend four months making decks about growth theory. You'll own real experiments, work with real company data, and be expected to move a real metric.

Responsibilities

• Help identify where our biggest growth opportunities actually are across acquisition, activation, retention, monetization, and referral.
• Design and run experiments across the funnel, from landing-page tests and acquisition channels to onboarding and product-led growth initiatives.
• Take growth ideas from hypothesis to execution to measurement, including the ugly middle where the first version doesn't work.
• Build dashboards, reporting, and analytical systems that tell us what is actually happening.
• Analyze user and funnel data to identify patterns, segments, bottlenecks, and opportunities.
• Build simple models, scripts, or automations when they help answer a question faster.
• Explore and scale acquisition channels from zero toward repeatable ROI.
• Work directly with product, engineering, marketing, sales, and leadership on growth priorities and tradeoffs.
• Help turn successful experiments into repeatable systems rather than one-off wins.
• Own at least one meaningful growth loop or metric during your internship.

Requirements

• You're comfortable with ambiguity and don't need every problem converted into a perfectly scoped task before starting.
• You think in numbers. If you can't explain whether something worked, you don't consider the experiment finished.
• You can use SQL, Python, spreadsheets, scripts, or similar tools to get your own answers instead of waiting for someone else to pull the data.
• You've done something growth-adjacent before, grown a side project, run ads, built an audience, automated outreach, improved conversion, acquired users, or shipped something people actually used.
• You can speak with an engineer and a salesperson on the same day and adjust how you communicate without losing the substance.
• You're willing to test ideas that might fail and change your mind when the data says they did.
• You're early in your career and want genuine ownership rather than a recognizable company name attached to low-impact work.
• You're comfortable working full-time from our office in HSR Layout, Bangalore for the duration of the internship.

This role is particularly well suited to someone currently in college, recently graduated, or in the first few years of their career.

Skills

Use AI Like You Mean It

If AI can do part of your work faster, we expect you to use it. During the interview, bring one real thing you've built or automated using AI. It could be:

• A script
• A research workflow
• An analysis pipeline
• An automation
• A small product
• An internal tool
• Anything else you actually built and used

You'll have roughly two minutes to screen share it. We're less interested in how impressive the demo looks than in questions like:

• What did the AI get wrong?
• How did you notice?
• What did you change?

Even Better If

• You've run paid acquisition with a real budget, even a small one.
• You've built or shipped something used by people outside your immediate circle.
• You understand basic experimentation concepts such as cohorts, sample size, statistical significance, and why a two-day A/B test usually tells you very little.
• You've worked with Salesforce, CRM systems, B2B SaaS, or revenue operations before.

None of these are mandatory.

What It's Actually Like Here

This isn't a rotational internship with a syllabus. Some weeks you may be deep inside a spreadsheet or dataset nobody else wants to untangle. Other weeks you may be sitting with the founders deciding which acquisition channel, product change, or growth experiment we test next. We won't manufacture busywork to fill four to six months. We also won't manufacture easy wins. What you get instead is direct access to the people making the decisions, real company metrics, room to experiment, and visible ownership over the outcome. If growth, product, analytics, or an operating role is where you want to go next, you should leave this internship with much more than another line on your resume.

Pay

₹30,000–₹40,000 per month, depending on experience and interview performance.
