About the role
As a GTAW Metals Fabrication Technician at Precision Equipment & Controls, you will be responsible for performing welding operations on various metal components using Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) techniques. You will fabricate and assemble metal parts according to blueprints and specifications, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.Responsibilities
- Perform GTAW welding operations on metal components
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts as per blueprints and specifications
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
- Use appropriate protective equipment and follow safety protocols
- Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of related experience in metals fabrication or welding
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Qualifications
- Knowledge of GTAW welding techniques
- Understanding of metal fabrication processes
- Good physical condition to perform manual labor
- Strong attention to detail
Skills
- Welding certification (preferred)
- Proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office)
