GSS Data Analyst

About the role

The GSS Data Analyst located in Louisiana is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable service delivery to customers. This person identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manages risk during service delivery. They monitor the well to provide timely and factual information to our customers; maintain sensors, equipment, and data acquisition equipment; and deliver high quality data to the customer at the wellsite.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient, and reliable service delivery to customers.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery process.
• Implement standard work.
• Manage risk during service delivery.
• Maintain sensors, equipment, and data acquisition equipment.
• Monitor the well to provide timely and factual information to our customers.
• Deliver high quality data to the customer at the wellsite.
• Interact with personnel and customer representatives from other service companies professionally at the wellsite.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer well data.
• Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
• Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
• Maintain the required safety training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Applied Sciences, Earth Science, or Applied Science.
• Previous experience as a Mud Logger or Mud Logging Data Analyst.
• Knowledge of offshore drilling equipment and techniques.
• Must have the legal right to work in the US without Visa sponsorship.

Pay

The anticipated annual salary including bonus is 80-110K depending on utilization and experience.

Schedule

The work schedule will be 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off.
