GSOC Operator - Swing Shift

About the role

Control Risks is looking for dedicated GSOC Operators to join a strong GSOC program for a global technology company. The GSOC Operators will play an essential role in safeguarding the client's onsite assets and employees by providing alarm monitoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor various security technologies, including CCTV, access control systems, and alarm systems to detect and respond to potential threats swiftly.
• Conduct real-time assessments of incidents and coordinate the appropriate response with internal and external stakeholders.
• Document all incidents thoroughly, including actions taken and the outcome, for future reference and analysis.
• Support the execution of security protocols and procedures as directed by leadership to maintain a safe environment.
• Engage in regular training to uphold knowledge of security trends, technologies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security processes and upgrade incident response strategies.

Requirements

• 0+ years of experience in a GSOC, Security Operations, or similar role working in the technology sector.
• Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in history, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or related areas of study preferred.
• Working knowledge of security systems, incident response protocols, and emergency management.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and make sound decisions under stress.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly.
• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to assess complex situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in using security technology and software applications related to monitoring and reporting.
• Capability to work flexible hours, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $65,000-71,000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Schedule

The shift for this position is 15:00-23:00, either Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday. This role helps cover 24/7/365 operations on a 5x8 shift schedule and requires working weekends and holidays.
