About the role

The Global Lean Leader of the Repair Value Stream executes Lean initiatives across the GSC Repairs Value Stream Plants, working closely with the GSC Business Operations Leader (GSC BOPS), the Repairs Value Stream Leader, and the respective Plant Leadership Team members to establish and execute a Lean Roadmap. This role is responsible for delivering SQDC from each of the Repairs Plants consistently, aligning with Hoshin Kanri strategic objectives, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Total Time In (TTI).

Responsibilities

  • Leading Kaizen events, MOR reviews, and daily management to improve processes.
  • Utilizing Lean tools to achieve goals and focusing on Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to drive improvements internally and externally.
  • Executing Read Across Processes to share lessons learned and best practices.
  • Establishing a formal cadence for coaching, improvement plans, Lean Roadmap tracking, and Lean Leader development.
  • Maintaining a Lean Leader at each site and developing a skills matrix with training plans.
  • Securing Sustainable Productivity HK objectives and executing Shingijutsu events.
  • Leading CEO, Earth, S&Q Kaizen Weeks and Hoshin Weeks.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in Manufacturing & Lean Manufacturing, comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college, or relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in deploying Lean in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of improving lead time, cost, and inventory turns year-over-year while securing Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading Lean deployment for multiple sites.

  • Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of being a change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization.
  • Commitment to process improvement.
  • Completion of a Site Lean Transformation.
  • Strong change management skills.

Pay and Benefits

  • Payscale range: $144,000.00 - $240,000.00.
