About the Role

The Growth Manager, Customer Engagement will own activation and habituation outcomes end-to-end. This person will identify opportunities across the customer journey, establish priorities, run high-velocity experiments, and use analytical insights to influence product and engagement strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own activation and habituation outcomes across the customer journey, from opportunity identification through measurable business impact.
  • Build and manage a high-velocity experimentation program across onboarding, upsell, contact opt-in, churn prevention, behavioral notifications, real-time interventions, mobile wallet adoption, referrals, retention, and win-back.
  • Partner as a peer with Product, Engineering, Machine Learning, Design, Analytics, Martech, Creative, and Brand.
  • Use experimentation findings to shape the product roadmap as well as the communications calendar.
  • Build and maintain a unified framework that scores opportunities and tests according to expected impact and effort.
  • Conduct self-service analysis, including opportunity sizing, funnel diagnosis, experiment evaluation, and iteration.
  • Advance the use of AI decisioning and automation within customer engagement marketing.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM, growth strategy, business operations, growth product, or a consumer-facing analytical role.
  • Track record of owning a growth area from initial opportunity through measurable impact while coordinating multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical self-sufficiency, including opportunity sizing, impact modeling, funnel analysis, and data-modeling intuition.
  • Proficiency with SQL; experience with Tableau, Looker, Mode, or similar data-visualization platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Deep experimentation experience, including maintaining experiment backlogs, designing rigorous tests, and applying results to drive compounding improvements.
  • Hands-on experience with Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or another CRM or marketing-automation platform, or the ability to ramp quickly.
  • Fluency with AI tools for strategy, execution, automation, and scaling output.
  • Clear, structured communication that translates complex analysis and ambiguity into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with onboarding, activation, referrals, incentive mechanics, in-app personalization, or regulated and trust-sensitive products is preferred.

Pay

Base salary: $108,200–$202,800 per year
