Growth Development Representative
About the role
SiriusXM is seeking a highly motivated Growth Development Representative to drive top-of-funnel growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities. This role is designed for individuals with related sales, prospecting, customer-facing, or equivalent experience who are ready to apply established sales practices, exercise judgment within defined processes, and build the skills required to progress into a full-cycle sales role. As a Growth Development Representative, you will play a critical role in generating pipeline for Account Executives by prospecting, engaging inbound and outbound leads, and booking qualified meetings. This is a high-activity, performance-driven role with a strong emphasis on growth, accountability, continuous improvement, and consistent ownership of defined pipeline-generation tasks.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and engage net-new prospects through outbound outreach, including calls, email, and social selling.
- Independently prioritize assigned accounts and inbound leads based on prospect fit, urgency, engagement signals, and revenue potential.
- Respond to and qualify inbound marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) in a timely manner.
- Schedule and book qualified meetings for Account Executives by applying defined qualification criteria and sound judgment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM and sales engagement tools.
- Execute a high-volume outreach strategy across calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity KPIs while balancing outreach volume with quality conversion outcomes.
- Follow up consistently and persistently to drive engagement.
- Prioritize speed-to-lead and responsiveness.
- Use CRM, sales engagement data, prospect context, and campaign information to refine outreach strategy and improve conversion.
- Conduct initial discovery to assess prospect fit, business needs, advertising objectives, timing, and interest.
- Analyze available prospect information and discovery responses to determine whether an opportunity meets qualification standards.
- Route qualified opportunities to appropriate sales stakeholders with clear context, next steps, and rationale.
- Continuously refine messaging and qualification approach based on feedback, results, and identifiable patterns in prospect needs or objections.
- Partner closely with Account Executives and sales leadership to align on pipeline strategy.
- Build productive internal working relationships with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales leadership to support lead follow-up, market feedback, and pipeline quality.
- Participate in team meetings, 1:1s, and training sessions.
- Share actionable feedback on lead quality, messaging, prospect objections, and market insights.
- Consistently exceed quota and KPI targets related to activity, meetings booked, and pipeline generation.
- Maintain high levels of productivity and organization in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate accountability, ownership, and strong follow-through.

- Exercise judgment within defined sales procedures and practices to determine appropriate outreach, qualification, routing, and follow-up actions.

- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience in outbound prospecting, sales development, advertising sales, customer-facing roles, or related fields is preferred.
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Pay
Base salary range of $42,000 to $56,000, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience. This role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives.
