Growing Program Needs Heart Failure Cardiologist - NC

About the role

The Novant Health Heart & Vascular Institute in the Greater Winston Salem region of North Carolina is a large multispecialty institute providing integrated inpatient and outpatient service line management of the cardiology and surgical cardiovascular patient. This position is part of the ongoing growth and development of the heart failure program at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the heart failure program at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.
• Provide clinical consultative cardiology services, demonstrating proficiency in the management of the entire spectrum of heart failure.
• Have fellowship training in heart failure, including mechanical circulatory support, and recent exposure to contemporary management of the heart failure patient through all care transitions is preferred.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine.
• Completion of an accredited residency program.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty (for specialty physicians).
• Licensure: Current MD license in appropriate state.
• Certification: Board certification or eligibility.
• License: Current DEA license.
