GROUP SUPERVISOR (Nights)

About the role

Nestled just outside the Great Smoky Mountains, around 30 miles north of Knoxville in Andersonville, TN, Norris Academy is a residential treatment facility offering comprehensive, holistic services to youth with autism spectrum disorders and/or other neurodevelopmental diagnoses. After 40 years of improving the lives of youth, Rite of Passage is looking for passionate advocates to continue the legacy of helping young people become successful adults. As a Group Supervisor, you will help care for and support autistic youth and coach the counselors who work directly with them. This is a 100% onsite position.

$50,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Provide and ensure consistent interactive supervision of the residents
• Provide operational guidance
• Coordinate activities for the residents and group living staff
• Ensure resident and staff safety at all times
• Enforce facility rules, policies, and routines

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
• Able to pass a background screening, drug test, and physical
• At least 3 years experience working with autistic youth
• Passion to work with and help children

Schedule

4 days on, 3 days off (opposite the 2nd week) schedule. Shifts: Thursday, Friday, Saturday (every other Wednesday) 7:00 pm–7:00 am. This is a 100% onsite position.
