At Corebridge Financial, we believe action is everything. Every day we partner with financial professionals and institutions to make it possible for more people to take action in their financial lives, for today and tomorrow. Our culture is defined by the following core values:

  • We are stronger as one: Collaborate across the enterprise, scale what works, and act decisively for our customers and partners.
  • We deliver on commitments: Be accountable, empower each other, and go above and beyond for our stakeholders.
  • We learn, improve, and innovate: Challenge the status quo and equip ourselves for the future.
  • We are inclusive: Embrace different perspectives, enabling colleagues to make an impact and bring their whole selves to work.

About the Role

The Group Retirement Platform Product Manager is responsible for our core retirement platform capabilities and adjacent capabilities that serve our in-plan clients. This role serves as the platform owner for our portfolio of retirement plan platforms, self-directed brokerage, non-qualified deferred compensation, health reimbursement arrangements (HRA), and student debt services, including both proprietary platforms and vendor relationships.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking and strong execution skills, translating business goals and platform needs into a cohesive framework of capabilities designed to drive client acquisition and retention. This leader will own platform roadmaps designed to meet market commercial demands, rather than day-to-day operations. This role reports to the EVP of Product, Pricing, and Investments.

Responsibilities

  • Own the multi-year roadmap and feature backlog for core recordkeeping and adjacent solutions.
  • Partner with IT and operations to build scalable, event-driven data models and robust third-party payroll/sponsor integrations.
  • Translate complex ERISA and Department of Labor (DOL) regulatory shifts into automated solutions designed to maintain compliance and meet client needs, rather than manual operational workarounds.
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, and transformation teams to build business cases and deliver strong client and business outcomes.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Consultant Relations to launch new platform capabilities and define product positioning.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in financial services, specifically within the retirement services industry.
  • 5+ years in platform management, focused on SaaS, fintech, or defined-contribution recordkeeping systems.
  • Deep familiarity with retirement data structures (plans, cohorts, contributions, rollovers) and compliance rules.
  • Hands-on experience with agile planning tools.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, develop talent, drive change, and influence stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a growth mindset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analyses clearly to senior leaders.
  • Culture carrier and both team leader and team player.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or Business.

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position is $195,000 to $310,000 at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will depend on factors such as geographic location, skills, experience, and other qualifications. The position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

Schedule

This position is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.

Location

This position can be based in Jersey City, NJ; Houston, TX; or Charlotte, NC.
