About the role
The Group Product Manager (GPM) will lead and evolve Solifi’s ILS product offering within the Equipment Finance domain.Responsibilities
- Own and drive product execution across the full product development lifecycle, actively monitoring progress, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outcomes
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, escalating issues as needed and keeping senior leadership informed with clear, data-driven updates and recommendations
- Identify new product and enhancement opportunities by analyzing customer needs, market trends, competitive gaps, and the potential to leverage rich historical data and AI enabled capabilities
- Champion new product ideas, including AI and data-informed initiatives, by building compelling business cases and presenting recommendations to senior management for investment and prioritization decisions
- Deliver maximum value to a broad customer base through highly effective prioritization, balancing customer impact, business outcomes, technical complexity, and long-term platform strategy
- Drive cross-product collaboration across the full product portfolio, working closely with Product Management, Engineering, Data, and Product Marketing to ensure aligned planning and successful delivery
- Act as a hands-on leader, willing to “dig in” to complex product, customer, data, and technical challenges to unblock teams and move initiatives forward
- Ensure product decisions balance innovation with enterprise SaaS expectations, including scalability, security, regulatory considerations, and long-term platform strategy
Requirements
- 10+ years industry experience in technology, software and application development with a focus on enterprise software applications and Product Management
- Bachelor's Degree in business or technology field; MBA is a plus
- 8+ years of product management experience in financial software, with increasing responsibility and demonstrated ownership of complex products
- Experience working on enterprise SaaS platforms, ideally supporting large financial institutions or regulated customers
- Exposure to or experience with AI enabled product capabilities, such as predictive analytics or intelligent workflow automation, particularly when leveraging large volumes of historical data, is a strong plus
- Proven ability to manage products through the full development lifecycle, from concept through delivery and iteration including sunsetting old products
- Strong analytical and prioritization skills, with the ability to synthesize diverse customer inputs into clear, actionable product decisions
- Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Marketing, and senior stakeholders
- Proven track record of collaborating successfully with distributed engineering teams and Product Owners across various time zones, including offshore and near-shore locations such as India
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to influence and align leadership teams
