About the role

The Group Product Manager (GPM) manages the interface between the business unit and the sales function, acting as a liaison with stakeholders including engineering, supply chain, and quality. This role identifies and supports existing aircraft part sales while developing new part sales.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the interface between the corporate sales team and the business unit, including forecasting, demand planning, order fulfillment, and customer issue resolution.
  • Monitor sales by account and sales team member.
  • Challenge and support the reconciliation of deviations from budget and forecast by account.
  • Work with the sales team to develop and maintain demand forecasts.
  • Track evaluation package progress from delivery to customer purchase.
  • Travel to customer locations as required to develop relationships and meet customer expectations.
  • Represent HEICO at industry and trade associations and shows to promote the organization and its products.
  • Collaborate with other HEICO business units and groups to promote growth.
  • Maintain a relentless focus on total cost of ownership.
  • Conduct constant data analysis to uncover trends and deviations, facilitating proactive incremental improvements in meeting customer demands.
  • Drive effective and timely communication between upstream and downstream stakeholders to ensure optimal performance and issue resolution.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Recruit, select, orient, and train team members; maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment; and develop personal growth opportunities.
  • Accomplish team results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
