Group Leader - Plant Logistics
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the administrative team at the assigned warehouse site to ensure efficient and effective integration with the local plant organization.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes and standards for intra-logistics operations in alignment with industry best practices.
- Oversee inventory and location record management to support accurate production control and cost accounting.
- Develop investment concepts for logistics infrastructure and equipment, including warehouse systems, material handling equipment, and replacement strategies.
- Support the implementation of investment projects in collaboration with relevant specialists and engineers, such as those from Industrial Engineering.
- Plan staffing levels appropriately and organize daily intra-logistics operations within the assigned area.
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues to maintain smooth logistics flow and operational continuity.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in plant logistics, intra-logistics, warehouse operations, or a comparable environment
- Strong technical and operational understanding of logistics processes, inventory management, and process optimization
- Very good communication skills for effective cooperation with local and international colleagues as well as external customers
- Leadership and interpersonal skills including conflict management, coaching ability, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently; Forklift certification preferred
